Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the MEUP service provided by FOP (Sole Proprietor) Ivanenkov Serhii Oleksandrovych (referred to as “We”, “the Service”, or “MEUP”).

By using our service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

MEUP is an online platform for managing appointments, staff schedules, client databases, and other tools for organizing business workflows.

The Service provides access to:

  • the admin panel;
  • the public booking form/widget;
  • integration with Google Calendar (automatic synchronization of bookings with users’ calendars);
  • staff, services, rooms, and questionnaire management;
  • email notifications for bookings;
  • company system settings.

We may develop, change, or update functionality without prior notice, provided such changes do not critically impair the overall operation of the Service.

2. Registration and Access

To use MEUP, an organization must create an account.

The user represents and warrants that:

  • all information provided is accurate and truthful;
  • login credentials will be kept secure;
  • they are an authorized representative of their organization.

We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from the user sharing their credentials with third parties.

3. Roles and Responsibilities of the Parties

3.1. Our Responsibilities

We provide the Service “as is” and ensure its stable operation, security, and proper functioning for organizations.

We are responsible for:

  • operation of the server and database;
  • protecting data from unauthorized access;
  • fixing technical issues;
  • ensuring proper functioning of integrations;
  • fulfilling our obligations to organizations.

3.2. Responsibilities of Organizations

Organizations are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of their company and staff data;
  • data entered by their clients via the booking widget;
  • compliance with personal data protection laws;
  • deleting their clients’ data upon request;
  • content uploaded to their company profile;
  • accuracy of schedules, services, prices, and booking conditions.

MEUP is not responsible for the organization’s actions toward its clients.

3.3. We Do Not Control Client Data of Organizations

Organizations act as Data Controllers for personal data entered by their clients.

We act solely as a Data Processor, providing technical infrastructure.

The organization is fully responsible for all legal obligations toward its clients (e.g., service delivery, refunds, cancellations, scheduling, etc.).

4. Restrictions on Use

Users are prohibited from:

  • using the Service in an unlawful manner;
  • copying or modifying the Service’s source code;
  • using the Service to send spam;
  • attempting to disrupt the server or database;
  • sharing access with third parties without permission;
  • using the Service for fraudulent or harmful activities.

We may temporarily restrict or block access if violations are detected.

5. Payments and Pricing

Information about pricing and tariffs is provided separately on the MeUp website or via support.

We reserve the right to change pricing, notifying users in advance.

Payments may be made via non-cash transfer to the bank details of the Sole Proprietor (FOP).

Failure to pay may result in limited access to the Service.

6. Integrations

6.1. General Provisions

The Service may interact with external APIs and services.

By enabling an integration, the user agrees that data will be transmitted to the corresponding service in accordance with their privacy policy and terms of use.

6.2. Google Calendar

6.2.1. Integration Description

MEUP provides the ability to synchronize bookings with Google Calendar.

The integration allows:

  • automatically creating events in Google Calendar when a booking is created;
  • updating events when booking time, date, or status changes;
  • deleting events when a booking is canceled or removed;
  • selecting a calendar for synchronization (organizational or employee’s personal calendar).

6.2.2. Access Rights

To use the integration, the following is required:

  • explicit user consent to connect Google Calendar through OAuth;
  • granting calendar access through Google Account;
  • permission to create, read, update, and delete events.

Users can:

  • connect or disconnect the integration at any time;
  • revoke access through Google Account settings;
  • select a calendar for synchronization.

6.2.3. Data Transmission

When using Google Calendar, the following data is transmitted:

  • event title (client name, service);
  • booking date and time;
  • service duration;
  • description (optional: client contacts, notes);
  • booking status.

Data is stored in the user’s calendar according to Google’s privacy policy.

6.2.4. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • the operation of Google Calendar API and Google service availability;
  • changes in Google Calendar’s policy or functionality;
  • data loss in case of user revoking access;
  • synchronization errors caused by issues on Google’s side.

We commit to ensuring proper integration functionality within our capabilities.

6.2.5. Disabling Integration

Users can disable the integration at any time through MEUP settings or through Google Account.

When disabled:

  • new events will no longer be created in Google Calendar;
  • existing events will remain in the calendar (not automatically deleted);
  • users can manually delete events from the calendar.

6.3. Other Integrations

Other integrations may be added in the future. Information about them will be provided separately.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials developed by MeUp, including:

  • source code,
  • user interface design,
  • written content,
  • the database,
  • the MeUp brand,

are the intellectual property of FOP Ivanenkov Serhii.

The user receives a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service strictly within its intended functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • losses resulting from improper use of the Service by the organization;
  • scheduling errors made by the organization;
  • inability of the organization to provide services to their clients;
  • issues caused by the user’s internet connection;
  • errors of third-party services (Google Calendar, email services), including API unavailability, changes in access policies, usage restrictions;
  • force majeure circumstances.

We commit to correcting technical issues and ensuring the stability of the platform.

9. Termination of Use

The user may stop using the Service at any time by requesting account deletion.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • the user violates these Terms;
  • the account is used for unlawful purposes;
  • data protection rules are violated.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Use.

The date of the latest update appears at the top of the document.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
